Bar-Plate's reproduction Carbon Paper is designed specifically for steel rule diemakers and diecutters. We use only the highest quality kraft paper and sensitive wax inks to assure you of a clear, sharp and accurate reproduction.
Typical applications for this superior product are: pulling or rubbing a strike sheet; die impressions to makeready cutting rule and level creasing rule; die impressions to cut channels in Counterboard and for locating Matrix; general tracings to transfer layouts to dieboards or Mylar and Vinyl strike sheets; creating a top sheet for makeready.
Bar-Plate's "4-4-2" gives you four roll widths, four roll lengths and two thicknesses from which to choose. Our fine line, one time carbon is .002" thick and has roll lengths of 300 feet and 3000 feet. Our super line, multi-use carbon is .005" thick and has roll lengths of 150 feet and 1500 feet.Common roll widths of 24", 36", 45" and 54" are available in both thicknesses.
When used with our Dispenser Cutter, Bar-Plate's Carbon Paper on rolls helps to eliminate waste - tear off only what you need; the balance of the roll stays neat and ready for your next application.
