QUOINS
If you're looking for a fast and simple way to lock your die in the press or chase, look no further. Bar-Plate is now the only manufacturer of "High Speed" Quoins in the world. Our unique construction applies even pressure across the entire face of the Quoin, ensuring a tight fit. Our positive locking feature prevents slippage. The one-piece construction, along with a simple turning motion of the Quoin Key, provides unparalleled speed for tool lock-up, and special plating prevents corrosion. Each Quoin is inspected throughout the manufacturing, assembly, welding and plating process, and each Quoin is stamped with a warranty date prior to shipment.
"High Speed" Quoins are available in 3", 6", 9" and 12" lengths. Special Bobst® Quoins are available in 9". Nominal overall dimensions are 11/16" x11/16" x "L" closed and 11/16" x 27/32" x "L" open.
Our Quoin Keys are new and improved! Our standard "T" Handle Key and the 6" Right Angle Key both come with a non-slip cushion grip. A 5-tooth replaceable Key shank is also available.
All keys are hardened and black oxide-coated to prevent rusting.
The bases are replaceable and interchangeable.
