Shipping & Returns

Bar-Plate makes all shipments subject to Buyer’s risk. All packages are insured unless otherwise instructed. Bar-Plate’s liability ceases when goods are delivered to carrier. Bar-Plate will choose the carrier and method of shipment unless otherwise instructed by Buyer. All Buyer designated carrier shipments will be sent freight collect. Orders received for in-stock products prior to 3:00 pm Eastern time, will be shipped the same day via UPS. Common carrier LTL orders must be received prior to 12:00 noon to ship the same day. Every effort will be made to ship all red and blue label orders on the day they are received.

Orders cannot be canceled, terminated, or modified by the Buyer after the order is in process, except with the express written consent of the Seller and then only upon the terms and conditions to be agreed upon which shall include protection of the Seller against all loss.

No unauthorized returns are permitted nor will they be accepted. Authorized returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge.

Prices

Bar-Plate sells from a published price list. Special order items are quoted separately and all prices are F.O.B. Hamden, Connecticut. USA.

Terms

Domestic: 1% 10 net 30 days to firms with approved credit. Failure to pay within terms will result in the loss of quantity, special and/or distributor discounts. All collection fees will be assigned to the Buyer.

Foreign: Net 30 days to firms with approved credit, otherwise payment in advance by direct wire transfer, or by check drawn on a U.S. Bank in U.S. Dollars. Irrevocable letters of credit and/or Sight Drafts are acceptable with prior notice.

Credit Cards

We readily accept Discover, Master Card,Visa and Visa Procurement Cards, as well as American Express and the American Express Purchasing Card. All credit card transactions must be designated at the time of purchase.
